Diwali is a time of gifts, shopping and celebrations. However, this Diwali comes has fallen a little early. Usually Diwali is celebrated in the first week of November, but this year one of India’s biggest festivals is on the last week of October and most salaries are credited on the first week of the month. Axis Bank’s new initiative is on this unique timing of the festival and that when Diwali is not waiting for Salary, why should employees wait for it.

Conceptualised by Autumn Grey #SalaryBeforeDiwali showcases a young employee’s dreams for his family and a series of unfortunate events erode into his savings. When all seems to be lost, his salary gets credited to his account before Diwali and makes him have a happier and brighter Diwali.

Commenting on this Bodh Deb; Vice President, Autumn Grey said “we really wanted this campaign to be a chain of goodness that is triggered by Axis Bank during Diwali. If an employee gets salary few days before Diwali and then all the people under his employment be it the domestic help, the security guard, the newspaper delivery agents etc could also benefit from this.”

We hope every company follows in the footsteps of Axis Bank and makes their employees Diwali brighter with #SalaryBeforeDiwali
