Pall-Ex, the UK and European palletised freight distribution network owned by former ‘Dragons’ Den’ star Hilary Devey, has appointed Mando Group to define a new digital strategic vision for the business, assessing how they can deliver optimum customer experience through new and existing digital channels.

Pall-Ex has a UK network of more than 250 independent hauliers.

Chris Bowden, marketing director at Pall-Ex, said: “We’re looking forward to initiating the first phase of our project in partnership with Mando. We’re confident that Mando’s distinctive approach will enable us to develop a digital strategy that will disrupt our industry and enhance Pall-Ex’s clear competitive edge.”

Ian Finch, managing director of Mando, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Pall-Ex on their new digital strategy. We’re looking forward to implementing innovative strategy concepts which will be robust, achievable and deliver excellent return on investment, both now and in the future.”

The new digital strategy is designed not only to service Pall-Ex’s network of more than 250 UK-based independent hauliers, but also drive the network’s growth throughout the continent, providing distribution services between every European postcode.
