Carpe has been devised by Inmotion Ventures, Jaguar Land Rover’s corporate venture arm, to offer its biggest customers a brand-new vehicle every year in a personalised package, which can then be swapped for the latest vehicle range as soon as it rolls off the production line.
Sebastian Peck, managing director of InMotion Ventures, said: “We know there is appetite for unlimited motoring packages and demand is growing rapidly for subscription services that better meet individual needs. For people who love driving premium vehicles but are tired of inflexible contracts, a subscription to Carpe is the solution. We aim to give our customers as much flexibility, freedom and choice as we can. We are excited to see Carpe come to market”.
Growing market demand for unlimited motoring services have driven the development of Carpe, which packages all vehicle, servicing, maintenance, insurance, roadside assistance and delivery costs in one all-inclusive, unlimited motoring package.
Subscription services have taken off in recent years with Uber competitor Ola launching its own subscription taxi service.
