The Drum Digital Trading Awards APAC are back for 2018 giving recognition to those who make the client’s life easier and their programmatic media buying more efficient. Meet eight of our stellar judges for 2018.

Sonal Patel, president of programmatic services, Asia Pacific, Dentsu Aegis Network

SOnal

Patel is president of programmatic services at Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific, responsible for developing a strategic-products roadmap and a distinct, articulate data-led programmatic proposition across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to this, she was managing director and Asia Pacific vice president at AppNexus. Patel brings with her over 10 years’ experience gained across high growth technologies including e-commerce, marketing, social media, digital mobile media and advertising exchanges, across multiple companies including; Google, Twitter and Yahoo.

John Matthews, director of customer acquisition, Fox Sports

John Matthews

Matthews has worked in the digital marketing industry since 1999 across the UK, Australia and Singapore. He is currently director of customer acquisition at Fox Sports Australia.

He recently moved back to Sydney to take the role at Fox Sports, after a three-year stint in Singapore, where he was group head of performance and media at APD. In this role he was tasked with building out APD’s digital marketing capability across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.

Prior to Singapore, John spent 12 years in Australia at APD, with a team of 70 working across SEO, programmatic, paid social, PPC, affiliate marketing, lead generation and dat and analytics.

Josephine Tan, global media director, McDonald's

Jo Tan

Tan is an accomplished marketer who has spent the last 20 years spearheading digital strategy and operational excellence with proven commercial impact across the Asia Pacific region.

She is currently global media director at McDonald's and responsible for driving digital acceleration and activation, with a focus on data and technology, to deliver personalised consumer connections and communication.

Prior to McDonald's, Tan was regional head of eCommerce/digital for P&G and Dell at MediaCom where she established the eCommerce expertise and upscaled capabilities in markets to achieve business results.

​Krishnan Menon, chief client officer, APAC, Wunderman​

Krishnan Menon

Menon is a consumer-obsessed brand-junkie who is passionate about creating and building meaningful brand experiences for the people who buy and love them.

With 20 years at WPP, Krishnan is currently chief client officer at Wunderman. Over the last two decades he has worked across the region on P&G brands, Starbucks, Chanel, 3M, HSBC, Kellogg’s, Nestle, Unilever, IBM, Dell, Microsoft, Ford, Shell and various others across B2C and B2B assignments.

Regan Baillie, chief digital officer, GroupM

REgan Baille

Baillie is currently chief digital officer at GroupM Singapore where she leads digital, data and platforms across Xaxis and [m]PLATFORM. She drives the digital development of GroupM Singapore ensuring GroupM’s position as an industry leader. She brings with her more than 20 years’ digital, ad tech and media experience and is a current board member of the IAB.

As well as being a member of the Xaxis Regional Executive Committee, leading talent and culture strategy across Asia Pacific, she serves on the global Xaxis committee for diversity initiatives and provides mentorship of the Youth Committee.

Niall Hogan, managing director, Southeast Asia, Integral Ad Science

Hogan joined Integral Ad Science in 2013 to lead the growing U.K. and European team. He grew the team from a single employee to over 65. Since the start of 2017, he has been based in Singapore, responsible for Southeast Asia, and is focused on new business, employee recruitment, and on-going client engagement.

Prior to joining Integral Ad Science, Hogan was an instrumental member of the Tribal Fusion UK management team after joining the company as their second employee in 2008. Niall has also held the digital sales director role at EMAP Interactive (Bauer Advertising) and was responsible for launching the first Digital Sales team at Hearst Digital in 2007.

Wendy Hogan, CX and marketing strategy director, Oracle Corporation

Wendy Hogan

Hogan is CX and marketing strategy director for APAC customer experience at Oracle Corporation. In this role, Hogan is responsible for building go-to-market strategies as well as educating APAC business leaders looking to build individualised customer experiences by becoming data-driven and customer-centric in their approach.

With almost twenty years of management and business leadership experience in digital media, Hogan was previously vice president and managing director, APAC for CBS Interactive and remains an active industry proponent, serving as a founding member of The Marketing Society SEA, as a member of the I-Com Advisory Board, and as co-founder and APAC curator of www.ladybadassery.com.

Sanchit Sanga, chief digital officer, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Mindshare

SANCHIT SANGA

Sanga is the chief digital officer for Mindshare in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, consulting with the world’s top marketers on establishing their digital businesses for future ready business models

His professional journey started in investment banking working out of languid Laos. Banking roles predictability and monotony didn’t keep Sanchit hooked for long. He moved back to India within a couple of years to join the excitement of the dot-com era. Persistence and resolve to establish digital media during the dot-com bust helped him play a pivotal role in shaping the digital marketing industry in Asian Markets.
