Electric scooter brand Lime names Jane Chung as global creative director

Chung brings over 15 years of experience at digital ad agencies such as Huge, Elephant, Omnicom, Leo Burnett, and iCrossing. There, she led the design of brand-focused experiences and products for Fortune 500 companies and startups, including brands like Apple, Nike, Coca-Cola, Hulu, Amazon, L’Oreal, 7 for All Mankind, Beats by Dr. Dre, and Skechers.

“From the past 15 years of working across Fortune 500 companies to digital ad agencies to startups, this is the first time in a long time that I felt inspired enough to go in-house,” said Chung. “Lime is more than just a scooter company; it has the power to shape design, technology, economy and ecology for the better future. Being part of a team that will lead that better future is an everyday privilege and joy for me.”

Founded only two years ago, Lime is a strikingly young firm, which makes it all the more impressive that it has raised $777m and expanded to over 100 cities, 25 countries and five continents so far.

Lime is committed to investing in urban transportation and changing the way people connect with their communities in an affordable, sustainable, and accessible way. The new additions to the company will help transform urban mobility through innovations like its Unlock Life brand platform that includes a variety of creative content, short films and local market activations to connect directly with consumers in a decentralized approach.

Alongside Chung, Kate Chartrand has joined Lime as senior director of corporate and consumer communications. Chartrand brings over 15 years of experience leading firms like Lululemon, where she headed the global communications function.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with the industry-leading team at Lime over the past few months and couldn’t be more thrilled to officially join the company,” said Chartrand. “Lime has experienced unparalleled growth since launching just two years ago and I’m looking forward to working with the team to reimagine the way people live and move in cities around the world.”
