Emma Watson’s Renais Gin arrives in US with ad campaign directed by Watson herself

Emma and her brother Alex, both known for their roles in the Harry Potter film franchise, celebrate the US launch of their luxury gin brand with an exclusive campaign directed by Emma herself.

Today marks a significant milestone for Renais Gin, a new, luxury spirits brand co-founded by British actors Emma and Alex Watson, as it is now available in 40 US states and select locations in California.

To celebrate this expansion, Emma Watson unveiled on Instagram an extended campaign for Renais that she directed and styled. The film offers her 74.6 million followers an intimate yet lighthearted journey through the brand’s inception, backstory and values.

The campaign was self-produced, without the assistance of an ad agency.

“I am very proud to share my director’s cut commercial for @renaisspirits to celebrate us heading to the United States,” Watson wrote in an Instagram post announcing the campaign.

“The US has been my second home since I first went to Brown in Rhode Island, so I am thrilled to be bringing Renais abroad and home again! Making this with friends and family has been one of the most rewarding, creative experiences I’ve ever had.”

Emma’s creative touch extends further with her design of a limited-edition sleeve exclusive to the US market, which feature her illustrations of some of the botanicals found in Renais Gin.

The Watson siblings created Renais Gin in 2023 after being inspired by their family’s rich history in winemaking. Over three decades ago, their father, Chris Watson, planted the family vineyards in Chablis, France.

Starting in July, Renais Gin will be available for purchase across 40 states and throughout select California retailers at $65.
