The Drum and Paddy Power's Tight Briefs World Cup kicks off today.

Every Friday from now until the end of the tournament in Brazil, we'll be setting the creative industry a quick-fire topical advertising or design brief to tackle in a single day.

With less than a week to go until the action gets underway in Rio, the headlines have been dominated by allegations of corruption regarding Qatar's selection to host the 2022 World Cup.

So for our first World Cup Tight Brief, we want you to design a poster promoting an alternative nation to host the 2022 World Cup.

To take part, simply email your entries in jpg form to tightbriefs@thedrum.com or tweet them to @thedrum using the hashtag #tightbriefs before midnight tonight.

If you didn't take part in our last Tight Briefs competition, the rules are simple: you have until the end of the day to scamp up a response to the brief, and we'll put all the entries online on Monday for our readers to pick the winner.

Good luck!
