Production studio Brat has inked a marquee partnership with Subway on the next season of Chicken Girls the Gen Z studio’s most popular series. The fifth season of the original series debuts this week.

Chicken Girls, a high school drama starring Annie LeBlanc, has amassed over 250 million views over four seasons and a feature film. The new season premieres on Brat’s YouTube channel, which attracts over 12 million unique viewers.

This season, fans of the show will see a host of integrations with Subway, including on-screen product integrations, custom advertisements, and social media posts. Subway was the official sponsor of a Brat fall series launch event, hosted at the newly opened Brat HQ in West Hollywood. The campaign will persist throughout the entire season of Chicken Girls, which draws millions of Gen Z and young millennial viewers each week at a time when television viewing for 12-17 year olds is down by 64% since 2010.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with a global industry leader like Subway,” said Darren Lachtman, a co-founder of Brat. “It’s fantastic to work alongside a team who recognizes the purchasing power of teens, and gets the importance of reaching this demographic in an organic way.”

"By partnering with Brat, we're able to deliver content and experiences that our younger fans are eager to watch and share,” said Steve Micolo, Subway's vice-president of marketing.
